Happy Halloween

Well today was a very cold day so we didn't take Ella out for trick or treating but we did give out candy and got to spend some time earlier today with some other friends making Halloween cookies. They were sooooo good!
Tonight we got a surprise "trick or treater" at our door...

I'm excited for Gabriella in the upcoming years...she will LOVE Halloween but until then we will help her eat all the candy.

Fun with Friends

What a week! It has definitely been a "Halloween" weekend/week around here.



Last weekend was the Trunk or Treat and this week we went with our friends Stacey aka (Dr. Spaulding) and her son Zachary to the Children's Museum. This was our first visit to the museum and I was pleasantly surprised at all the fun things for the kids to do. Gabriella had so much fun I will have to take her back again sometime soon.

This was her favorite thing of the day...I rolling walkway just perfect for little ones. I lost count of how many times she slide down one end laughing the whole time...

Treat or Trunk?

Yesterday was Gabriella's first Trunk or Treat. Steve had to work so I got dressed up and took my little "Cheerleader" out for some fun.

Last night we went downtown for Steve's work celebration.
We had a great time...I got a new outfit and shoes (of course). Just as a side note do you know how hard it is to find a modest cocktail dress and one that fits? Well for me it was the biggest ordeal...so thanks to my sister and family for finding this one on the Internet. I also need to thank Steve for all the hours searching the mall in an attempt to find a dress that didn't exist, not at our mall anyway.

Our first snow!
Yesterday the high was 70 degrees and today it is 35 and feels like 26 degrees according to the weather channel. Needless to say we made sure the heat was on upstairs. I think Steve had the most fun going to work this morning on the icy roads. He called me and said he almost lost control on the freeway ramp, it was pretty scary but he and the car are okay. Just to be on the safe side he is spending the night over there so Ella and I are having a "girls only" Sunday. So far we are doing pretty well.
