Here we go...

Well, if you've been here before, you've noticed that this site has been under construction for like, well, forever. I had aspirations at one time of creating some sort of cool website where people would be able to find some good info on living in Denver--where to shop, where to eat, where to live, etc. However, that just never happened for me, given the two primary reasons that (a) my writer (my wife Meredith, who will hopefully be posting as well) never got around to it, and (b) I was never happy with my web design.

So here we are, with one of those stupid blogs. I hope for this to be much more than a blog...one of my friends suggested that I have a site where I could upload pictures, and with family ranging the country, that sounds like a good idea to me. I also figure that I can somehow fulfill my original intent for this website by chronicling the things that we do, and thereby show the fun things there are to do around here.

Well, that's enough for now...we just got back from a weekend trip to Steamboat Springs (more on that later) and I need to unpack. I'll try to fill in some details later...so until then, Tchau!
