Four Years and 8 Pounds

Looking back so many things have happened: we moved, bought a house, and had a baby. There has been a lot growing and a lot of changes but all for the better, I know. Married life isn't all perfect, it's takes a lot of sacrifice, patience, and willing to compromise. A while back we had to give talks in church about marriage, (maybe it was to help prepare me before the baby came), this is one of the quotes that touched my heart:
"If you want something to last forever, you treat it differently. You shield it and protect it. You never abuse it. You don’t make it common or ordinary. It becomes special because you have made it so, and it grows more beautiful and precious as time goes by.” That is what marriage can be and it is my wish to never forget what it is truly all about.
Is love like a rose
That blossoms and grows,
Then withers and goes
When summer is gone?
The answer to that question is no.
I took Gabriella to the doctor's office today for another weight check. She is now 8 POUNDS!!! So we will continue with the expensive formula (I know what we will be asking for this year for Christmas).
