A Little bit of Christmas
me and Gabriella waiting for the flight to Louisville

I was really excited to see the new house and wished that I could build my own in KY (since it is SO MUCH CHEAPER) and have it moved to Denver. In my dreams.
But it is a beautiful home and I'm excited for them to get to enjoy it more and more.
the house
the train
the wildlife (deer jumped in front of us as we were driving)
On Christmas Eve Geri and Lori came over for dinner and brought their dogs. I think it was one of Ella Bella's many highlights.
After dinner she was pretty messy so Erin gave Ella a bath and then it was back to play with the dogs.
The next morning was CHRISTMAS!!! and Santa did a really good job. Steve was surprised with his Halo 3 graphic novel and I got my coveted "Twilight" book series and a new purse from my mom. Lauren also surprised me with a dvd set and some other cute things. Along with lots of candy and to make sure our cavities don't get out of hand Santa made sure to off-set it with some spiffy toothbrushes. But aside from all the great gifts we got the best thing was being together and sharing this experience with Gabriella.
I don't think my family will ever look at the stairs in the foyer the same way again.
Everyone took turns helping Ella Bella go up and down, over and over and over and over and over, you get the point.
One of the sweetest things Gabriella does is give kisses. Pucker Up!
I was able to leave a mark of my own on the new house. The window panes on either side of the front door didn't allow much privacy so I used "gallery glass" to make it harder to see in. Overall I was well pleased with my design and the way it turned out.
Here she is after she found daddy's hat.
The week went by pretty fast and soon it was time to say our goodbyes...(or so we thought)
When we got to the airport we were told the fight was delayed so we had about three hours to kill so off we went to downtown Louisville to eat at the Spaghetti Factory.
Then it was back to the airport...
After another delay we finally made it back to Denver around 2am and to sleep by 3am.
Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!!!
Yes I already miss my "bed buddy" and "poopy buddy". I now walk around the house using the sign language Ella uses to tell us "I want more!!!" and I go up to Mom and say "nigh nigh" hahahaha
Glad you kids made it back to cold, creepy, wet, scary icy road Colorado.
Tell Steve that he'd better take his happy meal toys to work! I know he has time to play.....its not like he is working on time travel....or is he????
